RideReady Terms of Use

Acceptance

These terms apply when you install, access or use RideReady. By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use RideReady. If you make choices for someone who cannot accept these terms independently, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Blue Sparrow operates RideReady as a solo developer based in India. These terms work alongside the RideReady Privacy Policy, Google Play terms and the terms of providers used for optional account, map, weather, purchase and support features. Mandatory consumer protections available where you live remain unaffected.

Service

RideReady provides cycling-focused weather displays, generated ride scores, suggested time windows, weather and air-quality detail, daylight information, a compass, an interactive map and optional local weather notifications. Some preferences and cached results work locally, while fresh weather, maps, sign-in, purchases, support and store updates need connectivity and third-party services.

Forecasts, map data, air-quality readings, warnings, compass readings and generated scores are general planning information. They are not an official warning service, turn-by-turn navigation, emergency service, medical or training advice, and do not certify that a route or time is safe. Conditions can change rapidly and provider data can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or wrong.

Before a ride, use your own judgment and check the actual route, official local warnings, visibility, traffic, trail or road closures, daylight, equipment, ability and health. Do not operate RideReady while moving when attention should be on cycling, driving or the surroundings.

Accounts and security

Google sign-in is optional. A signed-in account supports profile and premium-entitlement functions. Use only an account you are permitted to use, keep your device and Google credentials protected, and provide accurate information where requested.

You are responsible for activity through your device or account unless applicable protections provide otherwise. Notify [email protected] if you reasonably believe RideReady access has been compromised. Some account actions may require recent authentication.

The current in-app deletion flow schedules a request for 30 days later in the Firestore profile, clears the device's premium flag and signs you out. It does not itself cancel a subscription or necessarily erase every local file, authentication record, support message, provider log or store record. Server-side completion depends on the deployed account-deletion service. Follow the Privacy Policy or contact [email protected] if you need confirmation or a broader request.

Responsibilities

Use RideReady lawfully, safely and respectfully. You must not:

• Interfere with the app, weather proxy, provider services, security controls or another person's use.
• Attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, scrape protected services or evade quotas, purchase checks or feature limits.
• Misrepresent your identity, submit unlawful or harmful support content, or infringe another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
• Extract, copy, resell or redistribute substantial parts of the app, forecast feeds, map services, scoring presentation or branding except where a licence expressly permits it.
• Use RideReady in a way that distracts you from traffic, people, terrain, weather or another safety-critical activity.
• Treat a score, alert, map marker or compass reading as permission to ignore official guidance or observable conditions.

You are responsible for permissions, notification thresholds, quiet hours, route selection, suitable equipment and any costs charged by your network or platform provider.

Subscriptions and purchases

RideReady includes free functionality and may offer trials, subscriptions, lifetime access or other premium products. The features, price, billing period and trial conditions shown on the purchase screen are the terms for that offer. Google Play processes payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its rules. RevenueCat helps present offers, validate purchases, restore access and deliver entitlements. Blue Sparrow does not receive your full payment-card details.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the applicable renewal time. Uninstalling RideReady, signing out or requesting account deletion does not cancel a store subscription. Use Google Play or the available customer-centre control to manage it. Any refund, cancellation or cooling-off right required where you live remains available.

Entitlement updates can be delayed by network, store, provider or account state. Restore purchases with the same store account when supported. Blue Sparrow may change future prices or plan contents with the notice required by the store or applicable consumer rules; a change will not retroactively alter a completed one-time purchase.

Cloud features

Fresh forecasts send a requested location through Blue Sparrow's weather proxy to WeatherAPI or another configured upstream provider. Map views request styles and tiles from MapTiler or the selected public map service. Optional sign-in, App Check, Firestore profile, support and purchases use the providers described in the Privacy Policy.

If you enable weather notifications, RideReady stores recent coordinates and settings locally and schedules periodic operating-system jobs. Those jobs may use a current, last-known or cached location to request forecast data while the app is not visible. Delivery time and execution are best-effort and depend on permissions, network, power controls, provider availability and operating-system scheduling. Never rely on a RideReady notification as the only source of severe-weather or safety information.

RideReady does not provide a Blue Sparrow backup of local preferences, custom images or forecast cache. Your operating system may back up or transfer app data under your platform settings. Keep separate copies of any image or information that matters to you and use system controls to manage platform backups.

Intellectual property

Blue Sparrow and its licensors retain rights in RideReady's software, original interface, branding, explanatory text, scoring presentation and other protected materials. Weather observations, forecasts, map tiles, place information, icons and other provider materials remain subject to their respective sources, licences and attribution requirements.

You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use RideReady on supported devices under these terms and the applicable app-store rules. You retain rights in images and original text you choose to provide. You grant Blue Sparrow only the limited permission needed to store a selected image locally, display it in the app, process a support request you submit and operate a feature you request.

Availability and disclaimers

Blue Sparrow works to keep RideReady useful and reliable but does not promise uninterrupted service, perfectly accurate weather or air-quality data, complete warnings, exact compass calibration, current map coverage, successful background execution or compatibility with every device. Providers, operating systems, sensors, permissions, connectivity and local geography can affect results.

RideReady cannot inspect your route surface, traffic, mechanical condition, lighting, clothing, fitness, health or every local hazard. A high score can still coincide with unsafe conditions. Inspect your bicycle and equipment, follow applicable road and trail rules, and postpone or stop a ride when conditions are unsuitable.

To the extent permitted by applicable rules, RideReady is provided as available and responsibility is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot validly be excluded where you live.

Termination

You may stop using RideReady at any time. Cancel an active subscription separately and manage local data, account requests and platform backups as described above.

Blue Sparrow may suspend or restrict connected features for serious misuse, fraud, security risk, material breach, non-payment, provider requirements or discontinuation of a service. Where reasonably possible, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Provisions that naturally continue, including ownership, completed-payment responsibilities, service limitations and privacy-related obligations, remain effective after use ends.

Changes

RideReady, its features and these terms may evolve. Material changes will be explained through the app or https://bluesparrow.dev and will show a new updated date. Advance notice will be provided where required. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and manage any subscription and data choices.
