PawPack Terms of Use
Clear rules for running pet-care work, cloud features, client sharing and subscriptions with PawPack.
These terms explain the relationship between Blue Sparrow and each PawPack user. They are written for a global audience and should be read with the Privacy Policy and the purchase terms shown by Google Play.
Acceptance
These Terms of Use apply when you install, access or use PawPack, its synchronized services, public booking and client pages, hosted documents, communications or related features. PawPack is operated by Blue Sparrow, a solo developer based in India. By using the service, you confirm that you can accept these terms and will follow the rules that apply where you use it.
If you use PawPack for a business or on behalf of another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. If you do not accept the terms, do not use the service.
Service
PawPack helps independent dog walkers, pet sitters and other pet-care professionals organize clients, households, pets, services, availability, bookings, recurring work, packs, visits, care logs, GPS routes, reports, messages, documents, reviews, referrals and invoices. It can also provide public booking, client portal, report, invoice, export and status pages.
Features vary by app version, platform, plan, region, provider availability and release configuration. Internet access and a signed-in account are required for synchronization, public pages, messaging, hosted files, notifications, subscriptions and some backup functions. Blue Sparrow may improve, replace or retire features while protecting user choices and providing notice where appropriate.
PawPack does not employ pet-care professionals, match them as an agency, supervise their work, receive client funds or become a party to arrangements between a professional and a client.
Accounts and Security
Account access uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. You must provide accurate information, keep your device and Google account secure, protect access links and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. Activity performed through your authenticated account is treated as authorized unless Blue Sparrow has reason to know otherwise.
Do not share operator credentials or attempt to access another workspace. Client-facing tokens are purpose-limited links, not operator accounts. Anyone holding a valid link may be able to view or submit the content allowed by it, so links must be handled with care.
Signing out or uninstalling does not necessarily erase the on-device database, delete synchronized records, remove Google Drive backup files or cancel a Google Play subscription. Use the relevant deletion, Drive and Google Play controls for those separate actions.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for the pet-care services you provide and for the accuracy, necessity and lawful use of information entered into PawPack. This includes obtaining client instructions and permissions, protecting household access details, confirming pet health and medication directions, using location tracking appropriately and reviewing reports or invoices before delivery.
You must not use PawPack to harm people or animals, mislead clients, impersonate another person, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, distribute malicious material, probe security controls, overwhelm infrastructure, evade plan limits or use the service for prohibited or abusive activity.
Location, reminders, care checklists and notes are organizational aids. They do not replace professional judgment, direct observation, emergency procedures, veterinary guidance or a client's current instructions. Stop route tracking when it is no longer needed and avoid recording unrelated people or places.
Cloud Features
PawPack stores working records locally first and synchronizes supported content when the backend is configured, the account is authorized and connectivity is available. Synchronization can be delayed, incomplete or affected by conflicting edits, device conditions or provider outages. Review important records and keep appropriate independent records for your business.
Optional Google Drive backup is a separate backup-and-restore feature, not live synchronization. Database archives are encrypted before upload, while associated media can be stored as separate files and does not necessarily receive the same archive-level encryption. Backup coverage can change as PawPack adds data types, so a backup should not be treated as a guaranteed complete copy of every feature or file.
You are responsible for access to the connected Google account, starting or scheduling backups, checking their status and removing retained backup files when no longer wanted. Blue Sparrow cannot restore data that was never successfully synchronized or backed up.
Public Links
PawPack lets you create or share booking pages, client portal access, booking-status actions, reports, invoices, documents, messages, exports and other hosted material. You choose the content, recipient and duration where controls are available. Review every page before sharing it, use the least sensitive information needed and revoke access when its purpose ends.
Tokens and unlisted URLs reduce casual discovery but do not guarantee confidentiality. A recipient can forward, copy, download or capture accessible material. Search-exclusion instructions are not a promise that every crawler or external service will respect them.
You must have permission to share client, household, pet, photo, location, care, payment-instruction and document content. Avoid publishing keys, alarm details, lockbox codes, unnecessary medical notes or private operator notes. You remain responsible for communications and arrangements made through a public page.
Subscriptions and Purchases
PawPack can offer Free, Premium or other plans. Current features, limits, trial eligibility, price, currency, tax and billing period are shown in the app and by Google Play before purchase. Promotional or trial terms can vary by account, country and offer.
Google Play processes charges, renewals, cancellations and eligible refunds under its rules. RevenueCat helps verify purchase and entitlement status. Blue Sparrow does not receive full payment-card details. Unless Google Play states otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled through the user's Google Play account. Removing PawPack or deleting its account does not by itself cancel billing.
If an entitlement expires or cannot be verified, premium actions or higher limits may become unavailable. Existing records are not intentionally taken away merely because a plan changes, but continued hosting, creation or publication can remain subject to current limits and retention rules.
PawPack-generated invoices can display payment details or a scan-to-pay code configured by the professional. PawPack does not process, hold, guarantee or reverse direct payments between professionals and clients. Both parties handle settlement, receipts, disputes and refunds outside PawPack.
Intellectual Property
You retain rights in original client, pet, business, photo, document, message, report and invoice content that you lawfully add. You give Blue Sparrow a limited permission to host, copy, transform, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, back up, synchronize and deliver the features you request. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to normal backup rotation and required retention.
PawPack, its software, design, branding, templates and original service materials belong to Blue Sparrow or its licensors. Blue Sparrow grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or permit copying, reselling, reverse engineering or creating a competing service from protected parts except where applicable rules expressly allow it.
Feedback may be used to improve PawPack without payment or attribution, but it does not give Blue Sparrow ownership of the user's unrelated content.
Availability and Disclaimers
Blue Sparrow works to keep PawPack useful and secure, but availability is not guaranteed. Mobile networks, device storage, operating-system restrictions, Firebase, Google, RevenueCat, email delivery, infrastructure providers and other dependencies can delay or interrupt functions. Maintain suitable business continuity arrangements for time-sensitive work.
PawPack is provided as a practical workflow aid on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable rules, Blue Sparrow does not promise that every calculation, route, reminder, synchronization, document, public link or third-party service will always be uninterrupted, current or error-free.
PawPack does not provide veterinary, medical, tax, accounting, employment, insurance or other professional advice. Users must review outputs and obtain qualified advice when needed. Nothing in these terms removes consumer or data-protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using PawPack at any time. You can use available export and deletion controls before leaving. Account deletion is separate from uninstalling, Google Drive cleanup and Google Play subscription cancellation.
Blue Sparrow may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users or animals, respond to serious misuse, secure the service, enforce plan limits, address non-payment or meet an applicable obligation. Where practical, Blue Sparrow will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
After termination, permissions to use the service end. Provisions that logically continue—including ownership, limited content-processing permissions during deletion and backup rotation, payment responsibilities, disclaimers and records needed for security—remain effective for their relevant purpose.
Changes
Blue Sparrow may update these terms as PawPack, its providers, plans or applicable requirements change. The updated date will be revised, and material changes may also be announced in the app or on https://bluesparrow.dev. Additional notice or consent will be requested where required.
Continuing to use PawPack after revised terms take effect means the revised terms apply. If a material change is not acceptable, stop using the affected feature and use available export, deletion and subscription controls.
