SiteLog Terms of Use
Clear rules for local-first construction records, synchronized services, field evidence, public handoffs and subscriptions.
These terms explain the relationship between Blue Sparrow and each SiteLog user. They are written for a global audience and should be read with the Privacy Policy and the purchase information displayed by Google Play.
Acceptance
These Terms of Use apply when you install, access or use SiteLog, its synchronized services, public delivery pages, generated documents, notifications or related features. SiteLog is operated by Blue Sparrow, a solo developer based in India. By using the service, you confirm that you can accept these terms and will follow the rules applicable to your use.
If you use SiteLog for a business or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it. If you do not accept the terms, do not use the service.
Service
SiteLog helps construction professionals organize projects, contacts, labor, daily work, equipment, materials, deliveries, weather, visitors, delays, safety observations, notes, photographs, signatures, PDFs, proof packets and handoff packs. It can synchronize supported records and provide recipient-facing links, downloads and acknowledgements.
Features vary by app version, platform, plan, region, permissions, provider availability and release configuration. Internet access and a signed-in account are required for synchronization, hosted files, public links, notifications, subscriptions and some account functions. Blue Sparrow may improve, replace or retire features while respecting user choices and providing notice where appropriate.
SiteLog is a recordkeeping tool. It does not supervise construction work, employ crews, certify site conditions, approve safety practices or become a party to arrangements between users and their customers, workers or subcontractors.
Accounts and Security
Account access uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. You must provide accurate information, secure your device and Google account, protect delivery links and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. Activity through your authenticated account is treated as authorized unless Blue Sparrow has reason to know otherwise.
Do not share operator credentials or attempt to access another workspace. A public token is a purpose-limited delivery link, not an authenticated operator account. Anyone holding a working URL may be able to view or submit the content allowed by it.
Signing out or uninstalling does not necessarily erase synchronized records, delete the Firebase identity or cancel a Google Play subscription. Use the relevant deletion and Google Play controls for those separate actions.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy, necessity and appropriate use of project details, labor records, safety observations, photographs, signatures, reports and acknowledgements. Obtain any permission required to record workers, visitors, clients, property, precise location, speech transcripts or signatures, and provide notices required for your work.
Review every report, proof packet, handoff and public page before delivery. A visible GPS stamp becomes part of the image pixels and can reveal precise site location after download or forwarding. Dictated text becomes an ordinary editable record after recognition and should be checked for transcription errors.
You must not use SiteLog to harm or mislead people, impersonate another person, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, upload malicious material, probe security controls, overwhelm infrastructure, evade plan limits or carry out prohibited or abusive activity.
Weather, timestamps, location stamps, calculations, templates, reminders, signatures and acknowledgements are organizational aids. They do not replace professional judgment, direct inspection, safety procedures, contractual records or advice from a qualified professional.
Cloud Features
SiteLog keeps working records locally first and synchronizes supported content when the service is configured, the account is authorized and connectivity is available. Synchronization can be delayed, incomplete or affected by conflicting edits, storage limits, device conditions or provider interruptions.
Uploaded photos, PDFs, signatures, exports, proof packets and handoff files may be stored and downloaded through SiteLog services. Users should verify important uploads and exports and maintain suitable independent records for business continuity. Blue Sparrow cannot restore information that never synchronized successfully or that is outside available backup coverage.
The in-app deletion flow requests removal of backend account records, clears local data and signs out, but post-database file cleanup is best effort. Separate Firebase Authentication, subscription, provider logs and rotating backup copies may require additional action or time as described in the Privacy Policy.
Public Links
SiteLog can create tokenized links for selected daily logs, proof packets and handoff packs. You choose what to publish, whom to send it to and when to revoke it. Use an expiry where available and remove access when its purpose ends.
Tokens and unlisted URLs reduce casual discovery but do not guarantee confidentiality. A recipient can forward, copy, download or capture accessible material. SiteLog does not promise that every crawler or external service will respect search-exclusion signals.
You must have permission to share project, client, worker, photo, signature, precise-location and document content. Check visible photo stamps and avoid publishing private notes or unnecessary personal, security-sensitive or safety-sensitive information. You remain responsible for communications and acknowledgements made through a shared page.
Subscriptions and Purchases
SiteLog can offer Free, Premium or other plans. Current features, limits, price, currency, tax, billing period, trial eligibility and promotional terms are shown in the app and by Google Play before purchase and can vary by account, country, version and offer.
Google Play processes charges, renewals, cancellations and eligible refunds under its rules. RevenueCat helps verify purchase and entitlement status. Blue Sparrow does not receive full payment-card details. Unless Google Play states otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled through the user's Google Play account. Removing SiteLog or deleting its backend account does not by itself cancel billing.
If an entitlement expires or cannot be verified, premium actions or higher limits can become unavailable. Existing records are not intentionally taken away merely because a plan changes, but continued creation, synchronization, hosting or sharing can remain subject to current limits and retention rules.
Intellectual Property
You retain rights in original business, project, photograph, signature, document, report and other content you lawfully add. You give Blue Sparrow limited permission to host, copy, transform, transmit, secure, back up and display that content only as needed to provide the features you request. This permission ends when content is deleted, subject to processing time, normal backup rotation and applicable retention.
SiteLog, its software, design, branding, templates and original service materials belong to Blue Sparrow or its licensors. Blue Sparrow grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or permit copying, reselling, reverse engineering or extracting protected parts except where applicable rules expressly allow it.
Feedback may be used to improve SiteLog without payment or attribution, but it does not give Blue Sparrow ownership of unrelated user content.
Availability and Disclaimers
Blue Sparrow works to keep SiteLog useful and secure, but availability is not guaranteed. Mobile networks, device storage, operating-system restrictions, Firebase, Google, RevenueCat, weather, speech recognition, infrastructure and other dependencies can delay or interrupt functions. Maintain suitable business continuity arrangements for time-sensitive records.
SiteLog is provided as a practical workflow aid on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable rules, Blue Sparrow does not promise that every transcription, weather result, location fix, synchronization, calculation, document, notification, public link or provider service will always be accurate, current, uninterrupted or error-free.
SiteLog does not provide construction, engineering, architectural, safety, employment, tax, accounting, insurance or other professional advice. Users must review outputs and obtain qualified advice when needed. Nothing in these terms removes consumer or privacy rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using SiteLog at any time. Use available export and deletion controls before leaving. Account deletion is separate from uninstalling, deleting the Firebase identity and cancelling a Google Play subscription.
Blue Sparrow may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users, secure the service, address serious misuse or non-payment, enforce plan limits or meet an applicable obligation. Where practical, Blue Sparrow will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
After termination, permission to use the service ends. Provisions that logically continue, including ownership, limited processing during deletion and backup rotation, payment responsibilities, disclaimers and security records, remain effective for their relevant purpose.
Changes
Blue Sparrow may update these terms as SiteLog, its providers, plans or applicable requirements change. The updated date will change, and material changes may also be announced in the app or on https://bluesparrow.dev. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
Continuing to use SiteLog after revised terms take effect means the revised terms apply. If a material change is not acceptable, stop using the affected feature and use available export, deletion and subscription controls.
