These terms explain what ShootHarbor provides and the responsibilities that remain with photographers, studios and public visitors.

Acceptance

These Terms of Use apply to the ShootHarbor mobile app, connected services, public booking pages, delivery pages, hosted reports and invoices, notifications, support and related features. ShootHarbor is operated by Blue Sparrow, a solo developer based in India.

By creating an operator account, using the app, submitting a public booking or opening a client link, you agree to the parts of these terms that apply to that use. If you use ShootHarbor for a studio or business, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. Do not use a feature if you do not accept the applicable terms.

Service

ShootHarbor is a workflow and documentation tool for independent photographers. Depending on release state, configuration, plan and connectivity, it can provide:

  • Google and Firebase operator sign-in.
  • Local-first studio, offering, client, contact, location, shoot, template, booking and invoice records.
  • Queued synchronization with the ShootHarbor service.
  • Public studio booking pages and structured booking requests.
  • Imported image organisation and delivery-page preparation.
  • PDF shoot reports and invoices.
  • Studio-supplied payment instructions and payment-request QR material.
  • Operational email, push notifications, reminders, support and subscription status.

ShootHarbor is not an employer, photography marketplace, image-rights adviser, accountant, tax service, bank, escrow service, insurer, guaranteed archive or emergency service. It does not decide whether a booking should be accepted, whether an image may be used, whether a document is complete or whether a client payment actually arrived.

Accounts and security

Operator access uses Google sign-in and Firebase Authentication. Operators must provide accurate information, keep the Google account and device secure, review account activity and promptly report suspected misuse. A preview mode may store temporary local data without a connected operator account.

An operator must be an adult or otherwise able to manage a business account under requirements that apply to them. Public visitors must have authority to provide the submitted contact, location and booking information. Do not impersonate another person, seek access to another workspace or attempt to obtain a private link not intended for you.

Responsibilities

Photographers and studios remain responsible for:

  • The accuracy of offerings, availability, prices, client details, shoot records, reports, invoices, taxes, payment instructions and status updates.
  • Appropriate notices, permission and authority for personal information, locations, access details, photographs, family or minor content, communications and public pages.
  • Image ownership, licences, model or property permissions, usage terms, delivery scope and client agreements.
  • Reviewing every recipient, selected image, public link, report, invoice, email and payment request before sending.
  • Confirming money through the chosen payment provider before marking an invoice paid.
  • Keeping independent copies of important source images, agreements, accounting records and business files.
  • Meeting service, refund, cancellation, consumer, accessibility, tax and professional responsibilities that apply to their work.

Users must not misuse ShootHarbor to deceive, harass, spam, infringe rights, distribute harmful material, bypass quotas or security, interfere with the service, scrape private content or share information they have no authority to use. Reverse engineering is restricted except where an applicable rule expressly permits it.

Cloud features

Core records are stored locally first, and signed-in workflows synchronize supported data through the ShootHarbor API. Offline changes may remain queued, conflict with a later change or require a retry. Public publishing, hosted documents, email, push delivery, plan checks and some payment or support actions require a reachable service.

The local database and imported media are not application-encrypted in the audited build. Android system backup is disabled, but users must still secure devices and shared files. A local JSON export is redacted and excludes media and PDF bytes; after sharing, the user controls its destination.

ShootHarbor is not a guaranteed backup or permanent media archive. Operators must retain originals and any records needed for their work. Blue Sparrow may apply storage, size, quota, retention, safety and abuse limits and may change connected infrastructure with reasonable care.

Public links

Studios can publish a booking page using a public slug. Visitors may submit contact, schedule, location and intake details without signing in. A booking request is not accepted work until the studio confirms it, and page availability does not guarantee a slot remains available.

Delivery, invoice and shoot-report URLs are bearer links. Anyone holding a valid link may be able to view or download its selected content without an account. Invoice and report links may expire or be revoked; the audited delivery link does not have a separate expiry field. Recipients can forward, save or capture content outside ShootHarbor.

Operators must share links deliberately and remove unintended or unnecessary content. Public visitors and recipients must use a link only for its intended purpose and must respect the studio's image, download and usage instructions. Blue Sparrow cannot recall copies already saved or forwarded by a recipient.

Subscriptions and purchases

ShootHarbor may offer Free and Premium access with different quotas or features. Current products, prices, currency, taxes, renewal period, trial eligibility and limits are shown in the app and confirmed by Google Play before purchase. RevenueCat and Blue Sparrow subscription infrastructure support entitlement delivery.

Subscriptions renew according to the Google Play confirmation unless cancelled through Google Play before the applicable renewal. Removing the app, signing out or deleting a ShootHarbor account does not itself cancel a Google Play subscription. Store rules control purchase processing, cancellation, refunds and billing support.

Plan labels, limits, trials and features may change for future periods. A change will not rewrite a completed store transaction. Connected entitlement checks may be required to activate or restore Premium, and temporary provider or network failures may delay a status update.

ShootHarbor may let studios display SEPA, UPI, PayPal.Me, provider URLs, manually uploaded QR images or other payment directions and create payment requests. These details are supplied by the studio. Client settlement occurs outside ShootHarbor, and Blue Sparrow does not hold the funds, verify the destination or guarantee payment, refund or recovery.

Intellectual property

Blue Sparrow retains rights in ShootHarbor, its software, interface, brand, documentation and original service materials. Subject to these terms, an operator receives a limited, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use the available service.

Operators and clients retain rights they already hold in their studio identity, text, templates, photos, booking details, reports and other content. The operator gives Blue Sparrow only the limited permission reasonably needed to store, synchronize, transform, generate previews or documents, transmit, display and delete that content to provide the selected features.

Feedback may be used to improve ShootHarbor without transferring ownership of the user's separate content. Users must not remove brand notices where the active plan requires them or use Blue Sparrow branding in a misleading way.

Availability and disclaimers

ShootHarbor is provided on an as-available basis. Features can be delayed, unavailable or changed because of connectivity, device limits, provider behavior, maintenance, configuration, quotas, security needs or continuing product development. Preview, placeholder, planned or conditional behavior must not be treated as a completed delivery.

Users must review generated reports, invoices, payment QR material, calculations, client details and public pages before relying on them. Blue Sparrow does not guarantee uninterrupted synchronization, permanent retention, error-free documents, search exclusion for client pages, successful email or notification delivery, client payment or a particular business result.

To the extent permitted by applicable requirements, Blue Sparrow is not responsible for indirect loss arising from user content, professional decisions, inaccurate payment details, recipient forwarding, an unavailable provider, a lost device or a failure to keep independent copies. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory protection that cannot validly be excluded.

Termination

An operator may stop using ShootHarbor at any time. Account deletion is available in the app after confirmation and may require recent Google authentication. It requests removal of the connected workspace and related database records, deletes the Firebase Auth user and clears the local database when each preceding step succeeds. Google Play cancellation remains separate.

The audited deletion flow does not explicitly remove every imported local media file or every backend file object. Provider records, security information, limited deletion tombstones, backups and recipient copies may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

Blue Sparrow may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary for security, serious misuse, repeated harmful activity, non-payment, provider requirements or discontinuation. Where practical, notice or an opportunity to export supported local records may be provided.

Sections that logically need to continue after use ends, including ownership, user responsibilities, purchase history, public copies and reasonable service limitations, continue to apply.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the product, providers, risks or applicable requirements change. The updated date will change, and meaningful revisions may also be communicated through the app or website. Continued use after an update takes effect indicates acceptance of the revised terms; a user may stop using the service if they do not accept them.
