These terms explain ProofPocket's purpose and boundaries while preserving mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

Acceptance

These terms apply when you install, access or use ProofPocket. By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use ProofPocket. If you make account, purchase, backup or sharing choices for another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Blue Sparrow operates ProofPocket as a solo developer based in India. These terms work alongside the ProofPocket Privacy Policy, Google Play terms and the terms of any optional provider you use. Mandatory consumer protections available where you live remain unaffected.

Service

ProofPocket provides tools for receipts, item details, attachments, return and warranty deadlines, reminders, contacts, service and maintenance records, claims, tags, local search, Proof Pack PDFs, ZIP and CSV exports, optional encrypted Google Drive backup, portable recovery and build-gated Drive synchronization.

ProofPocket is an organization and evidence-preparation aid. It does not verify ownership, authenticity, merchant policies, warranty coverage, insurance value, legal sufficiency or claim acceptance. A reminder, calculated deadline, OCR result, barcode result, export or archive-health indicator can be incomplete or wrong if the source information is incomplete or conditions change. Check the original requirements and keep irreplaceable records independently.

Accounts and security

Google sign-in is required for the current app flow and creates a Firebase identity used for account, Drive, purchase and recovery boundaries. Use only an account you are permitted to use, provide accurate information where required and protect your device, Google account, biometric methods and recovery passphrase.

You are responsible for activity through your device and account unless applicable protections provide otherwise. Notify [email protected] if you reasonably believe access has been compromised. Signing out, deleting the app or clearing local data does not automatically cancel a subscription or retrieve exported or shared files. Follow the Privacy Policy for the account-deletion scope and provider boundaries.

Responsibilities

Use ProofPocket lawfully and responsibly. You must:

  • Have the right to capture, store and share each receipt, image, document, contact and note you add.
  • Check OCR, barcode, price, date, serial-number, reminder and export results before relying on them.
  • Protect sensitive documents, exports and recovery credentials and verify recipients before sharing.
  • Keep an independent original or suitable backup where loss would cause serious harm.
  • Follow retailer, manufacturer, insurer, tax and recordkeeping requirements that apply to you.

You must not interfere with ProofPocket or connected services, evade access or paid-feature controls, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, impersonate another person, upload unlawful material or use the app to misrepresent evidence or violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.

Cloud features

If you grant Drive access, standard backup stores encrypted database snapshots, manifests, indexes and attachment objects in ProofPocket's hidden app-data area in your Google Drive. Restore requires the same Google or Firebase identity that created the account-linked objects. Automatic scheduling, upload, retention repair and cleanup are best effort and can be affected by connectivity, battery policy, account state and Google services.

Portable recovery is separate. It uses a random backup master key and an independent user-managed recovery passphrase. Restoring it requires the matching account and passphrase. Blue Sparrow cannot reset the passphrase or decrypt the checkpoint for you. Keep it in a secure password manager and verify recovery while you still have access to the original device.

Free access retains the latest standard checkpoint and Premium can retain up to five. A newer checkpoint or attachment can still be preparing, and cleanup can leave older encrypted objects temporarily. Recovery features are valuable safeguards, not a guarantee against every device, credential, corruption or provider failure.

True multi-device synchronization is a separately gated capability that is disabled in the default build configuration. If a specific build and account enable it, encrypted entity batches, deletion records and state use the same Drive app-data boundary. Do not assume ordinary checkpoint backup continuously merges changes between devices.

Local portable backup files are encrypted. Proof Pack PDFs, item ZIP bundles and inventory CSV exports are ordinary files. Once you choose a save location, print service, share target or recipient, that destination controls its copy.

Subscriptions and purchases

ProofPocket offers free functionality and may offer trials, subscriptions, lifetime access or other Premium products. The features, item limits, retention level, price, billing period and trial conditions displayed at purchase are the terms for that offer. Google Play processes payment, renewal, cancellation and eligible refunds under its rules; RevenueCat helps validate and deliver entitlements. Blue Sparrow does not receive your full payment-card details.

A subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the applicable renewal time. Deleting ProofPocket, signing out or deleting an account does not cancel it. Manage cancellation through Google Play. Access can take time to refresh and may depend on a valid receipt, connectivity, the signed-in ProofPocket identity and the store account used for purchase. Refund, withdrawal or cooling-off protections required where you live remain available.

Blue Sparrow may change future prices, limits or plan contents with the notice required by Google Play or applicable consumer rules. A future change will not retroactively alter an already completed one-time purchase.

Intellectual property

Blue Sparrow and its licensors retain rights in the ProofPocket software, original interface, branding, templates, compilations and other protected materials. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use ProofPocket on supported devices under these terms and applicable app-store rules.

You retain rights in original item details, notes, images, documents and other content you create or are authorised to use. You give Blue Sparrow and the providers you select a limited permission to process that content only as reasonably needed to provide the backup, recovery, support, export or sharing action you request. You remain responsible for the rights and permissions associated with your content.

Availability and disclaimers

Blue Sparrow works to keep ProofPocket useful and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, successful capture or OCR, perfect deadline calculations, delivery of every reminder, acceptance of an export, preservation of every record, compatibility with every device, successful backup or restore, or uninterrupted access to a provider.

Retailers, manufacturers, insurers and other recipients independently decide what evidence they accept. ProofPocket cannot preserve a paper original you discard, determine every applicable deadline or assess the full context of a return, warranty, tax or insurance matter.

To the extent permitted by applicable rules, ProofPocket is provided as available and responsibility is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot validly be excluded where you live.

Termination

You may stop using ProofPocket at any time. Cancel an active subscription separately and manage local, Drive, exported and recipient copies as described in the Privacy Policy.

Blue Sparrow may suspend or restrict an account or connected feature for serious misuse, fraud, security risk, material breach, non-payment, provider requirements or discontinuation of a service. Where reasonably possible, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Provisions that naturally continue, including ownership, completed-payment responsibilities, service limitations and privacy duties, remain effective after use ends.

Changes

ProofPocket and these terms may evolve. Material changes will be explained through the app or https://bluesparrow.dev and will show a new updated date. Advance notice will be provided where required. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and manage any subscription and stored copies.
