InspectMate Terms of Use
Practical terms for inspections, connected records, documents, sharing and purchases.
These terms set expectations for professional InspectMate use while preserving mandatory consumer rights available where a user lives.
Acceptance
These terms apply when you install, access or use InspectMate, its connected services or hosted report and invoice pages. By using InspectMate, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use it for a business or enter information about another person, you confirm you have the authority and permissions needed.
Blue Sparrow operates InspectMate as a solo developer based in India. These terms work alongside the InspectMate Privacy Policy, Google Play terms and the terms of any provider or destination you choose. Mandatory consumer protections available where you live remain unaffected.
Service
InspectMate provides tools for business profiles, clients, contacts, sites, calendars, jobs, inspection templates, checklists, findings, corrective actions, photos, reports, invoices, external payment records, customer email, exports, synchronization, notifications and hosted documents.
InspectMate is a productivity and documentation aid. It does not inspect a site by itself, certify safety or regulatory compliance, guarantee that a checklist is sufficient, calculate every applicable tax, issue a professional qualification, process client funds or provide legal, engineering, safety, accounting or other professional advice. Results depend on your inputs, chosen method and professional review.
Accounts and security
Connected use requires Google sign-in and a Firebase identity. Use only an account, workspace and device you are permitted to access. Keep the device, Google account and authentication methods secure, provide accurate workspace details and notify [email protected] if access may be compromised.
Signing out, uninstalling or clearing local data does not automatically remove synchronized, backup, provider-held, recipient or exported copies and does not cancel a subscription. Follow the Privacy Policy for deletion details.
Responsibilities
Use InspectMate lawfully, safely and professionally. You must:
- Select an appropriate inspection method and independently verify checklist coverage, findings, corrective actions and conclusions.
- Enter accurate client, site, schedule, invoice, tax and payment-status information and correct material errors.
- Have an appropriate basis for contact details, site information, notes, photos, signatures and evidence, including notices or permission required for another person.
- Respect site rules, confidentiality, safety requirements and restrictions on photography or recording.
- Review every report, invoice, recipient, hosted link, email, external payment instruction and export before sending or relying on it.
- Maintain independent records, backups or professional evidence required for your work.
You must not interfere with the service, evade feature or access controls, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, automate abusive requests, impersonate another person, distribute spam, upload unlawful or harmful material, or violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
Cloud features
InspectMate stores local working records and synchronizes supported data and queued media through its connected service. Synchronization depends on authentication, plan, network, device, server and provider state and may be delayed or interrupted. Review important records before relying on a synchronized copy.
Service backups are operational safeguards, not a personal archive guarantee. Keep another suitable copy of irreplaceable records. PDFs, email attachments and exports become ordinary files controlled by the selected destination or recipient; deleting InspectMate does not retrieve them.
Public links
InspectMate can create tokenized, expiring and revocable links for selected report and invoice documents. Anyone holding an active link can access its content without signing in. Share a URL only with an intended recipient, minimize included data, confirm invoice payment details, and revoke it when access is no longer appropriate.
A report may include business branding, inspector, client, job, site, findings and photos. An invoice may include business and client details, totals and user-supplied payment instructions or QR content. Expiry or revocation prevents later service access but cannot delete a copy already downloaded, forwarded or captured. Token strength cannot replace careful recipient verification.
Subscriptions and purchases
InspectMate may offer free features, trials, subscriptions, lifetime access or other Premium products. The features, limits, price, billing period and trial conditions displayed in the app and at purchase apply to that offer. Google Play processes payment, renewal, cancellation and eligible refunds; RevenueCat helps validate and deliver entitlements. Blue Sparrow does not receive full payment-card details.
A subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before renewal. Deleting InspectMate, signing out or deleting an account does not cancel it. Access may depend on a valid receipt, connectivity and the store account used. Refund, withdrawal or cooling-off protections required where you live remain available.
InspectMate can record payments received outside the app and display payment instructions, links or QR material supplied by the inspector. Blue Sparrow does not hold, transfer or settle those funds. The inspector is responsible for correct details, security, receipts, refunds, reconciliation and client payment concerns.
Intellectual property
Blue Sparrow and its licensors retain rights in the InspectMate software, original interface, branding, included templates and protected materials. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use InspectMate on supported devices under these terms and app-store rules.
You retain rights in original business information, templates, records, images, reports and invoice content you create or are authorized to use. You give Blue Sparrow limited permission to host, store, copy, transmit, format and display that material only as reasonably needed to provide, secure and support requested features. You remain responsible for the necessary rights and permissions.
Availability and disclaimers
Blue Sparrow works to keep InspectMate useful and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation of every record, delivery of every notification or email, successful synchronization, compatibility with every device, recipient access to a link, or a particular inspection, safety, compliance, payment or business outcome. Connectivity, operating-system restrictions, credentials, maintenance and provider outages can affect connected features.
Apply your own professional judgment to scope, evidence, findings, safety, compliance, corrective actions, billing, tax and records. Review generated documents and calculations before use.
To the extent permitted by applicable rules, InspectMate is provided as available and responsibility is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot validly be excluded where you live.
Termination
You may stop using InspectMate at any time. Cancel an active subscription separately and manage local, synchronized, public-link, exported and recipient copies as described in the Privacy Policy.
Blue Sparrow may suspend or restrict an account or connected feature for serious misuse, fraud, safety or security risk, material breach, non-payment, provider requirements or discontinuation. Where reasonably possible, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Terms that naturally continue, including ownership, completed-payment responsibilities, retained-copy permissions, service limitations and privacy duties, remain effective after use ends.
Changes
InspectMate and these terms may evolve. Material changes will be explained through the app or https://bluesparrow.dev and will show a new updated date. Advance notice will be provided where required. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and manage any subscription and stored copies.
