EventSmart Terms of Use
Practical terms for EventSmart's local workspace, cloud tools and client-facing documents.
These terms set clear expectations for event professionals while preserving mandatory consumer and privacy protections available where they live.
Acceptance
These terms apply when you install, access or use EventSmart, its connected backend or its public client pages. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Blue Sparrow operates EventSmart as a solo developer based in India. These terms work alongside the EventSmart Privacy Policy, Google Play terms and the terms of providers used for optional account, purchase, notification and communication features. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights available where you live remain unaffected.
If you use EventSmart for a business or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to make its workspace choices and accept these terms for that use.
Service
EventSmart is a local-first event-business workspace for inquiries, customers, venues, event briefs, attachments, quotes, invoices, external payment instructions, tasks, timelines, materials, templates, local reminders, exports and event-day execution. The exact features and limits available depend on the app version, platform, plan, configuration and region.
Core work can be saved locally and used without an account. Optional connected capabilities may include Google sign-in, subscription recognition, sync, restore, uploaded files, public client links, invoice email, support requests, team workspaces and push updates. These need connectivity and the relevant service to be available.
EventSmart does not process, receive, hold or transfer payments between an operator and a client. It can display operator-supplied bank, UPI, QR or other external payment instructions and can record a payment status entered manually. A QR scan, shared instruction or manually recorded status is not confirmation that money moved.
Accounts and security
An account is not required for local-only use. Connected features use Google sign-in and Firebase Authentication where configured. Use only an account you are permitted to use, provide accurate information and protect your device and authentication methods.
You are responsible for activity through your device, account, workspace and team membership except where applicable protections provide otherwise. Notify [email protected] if you reasonably believe access has been compromised. Blue Sparrow may request fresh authentication for sensitive actions and may restrict connected access to address fraud, serious misuse, a security risk, non-payment or a provider requirement.
Signing out, uninstalling EventSmart or deleting local data does not automatically cancel a subscription or remove provider-held identity, purchase, diagnostic, email or public-recipient copies. The in-app account-data action has the scope and current limitations described in the Privacy Policy.
Responsibilities
You decide what business, client, venue, event, staff and attendee information to enter. You are responsible for:
- Having an appropriate basis and any required permission to collect, store, sync and share that information, especially access instructions, images, financial details and information relating to children.
- Keeping information accurate, separating private notes from client-visible material and choosing the correct recipients.
- Reviewing every quote, invoice, PDF, event summary, schedule, total, tax label, payment instruction, QR code and email before it is issued or shared.
- Protecting devices, accounts, exported files, public links and team access, and revoking access when it is no longer appropriate.
- Keeping independent records and backups suitable for your business, professional and record-keeping needs.
- Complying with communication, marketing, invoicing, tax, consumer, privacy, employment, venue, safety and other requirements that apply to your activities.
Use EventSmart lawfully and respectfully. You must not interfere with security or service operation, seek unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, evade plan limits, impersonate another person, infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use support, email, notification or public-response tools for spam or harassment.
Subscriptions and purchases
EventSmart provides local functionality and may offer subscriptions, trials, one-time products or different plan levels. The current features, limits, price, billing period, eligibility and trial conditions displayed in the app and confirmed by Google Play at purchase form the offer that applies. Marketing examples do not override that checkout information.
Google Play processes payment, renewal, cancellation and available refunds. RevenueCat helps recognise and deliver the resulting entitlement. Blue Sparrow does not receive your full store payment credentials. A subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the applicable renewal time. Deleting EventSmart, local records or backend data does not itself cancel the subscription.
If paid access ends, local records are not intentionally deleted solely for that reason, but connected or higher-limit features may pause. Syncing or editing the same workspace from several devices while access is paused may create conflicts. Blue Sparrow may change future pricing or plan contents with the notice required by the store and applicable consumer rules. Refund, cancellation or cooling-off rights required where you live remain available.
Cloud features
Cloud features are optional and depend on Firebase Authentication, Blue Sparrow infrastructure and other relevant providers. Eligible records may be synchronized from the local database to an authenticated workspace, supported files may upload separately, and restore may apply cloud records back to a device. Team members with an assigned role may access workspace information permitted by the service.
Local-first does not mean every connected action is instantly complete. Sync, conflict resolution, upload, email, notifications and restore can be delayed, rejected or unavailable. Review sync status before relying on another device and keep appropriate independent copies of essential client documents. Blue Sparrow does not promise that every local record, file, history item or external copy can always be restored.
The Privacy Policy explains the intended EU infrastructure boundary and pending production evidence. Provider-controlled identity, purchase, notification, diagnostic and communication services may operate in other regions.
Public links
EventSmart may let an eligible operator create a token-bearing public snapshot of a quote, invoice or event summary. Anyone who obtains the link can view selected information until it expires or is revoked. A recipient may respond to a quote, acknowledge an invoice or leave a name and comment. Those responses can be stored with the workspace and may be visible to another holder of the same token.
You must preview the selected content, share only what is necessary, send the link through an appropriate channel, choose an expiry where suitable and revoke access when it is no longer needed. Do not include private access codes, hidden cost data, unnecessary information about children or other content that the recipient should not receive. EventSmart does not guarantee that a link will remain confidential, will be excluded from every search or archive system, or will prevent forwarding, screenshots or browser-history copies.
A public-link approval, decline, acknowledgement or comment is a workflow record. EventSmart does not determine whether it creates a binding agreement, satisfies signature or notice requirements, confirms identity, proves delivery or replaces the documents and processes your business needs. Agree directly with the client on any required acceptance method.
Intellectual property
Blue Sparrow and its licensors retain rights in EventSmart software, interface, branding, templates, documentation and other protected materials. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use EventSmart on supported devices for your internal event-business work under these terms and applicable app-store rules.
You retain rights in original content you create. You grant Blue Sparrow only the limited permission needed to store, synchronize, transform, display, transmit and delete that content to provide features you request, such as PDF generation, sync, public links, email and support. You are responsible for having the right to use imported logos, photographs, templates, text and other material and for respecting any client, venue, photographer or third-party restrictions.
Feedback may be used to improve EventSmart without identifying you publicly. If you believe content raises an accuracy or rights concern, contact [email protected] with enough detail for review.
Availability and disclaimers
Blue Sparrow works to keep EventSmart useful and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free calculations, delivery of every email or notification, successful upload or restore, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of a provider or feature. Connectivity, operating-system restrictions, account state, storage capacity, recipient systems and third-party outages can affect results.
EventSmart is a workflow, document-generation and record-keeping aid. It does not provide payment processing or legal, tax, accounting, employment, insurance, venue, permit, safety or other professional advice. Templates, totals, tax labels, schedules, readiness signals and reminders do not establish that a document, event or business process meets a particular requirement. Review outputs and obtain qualified advice when needed.
To the extent applicable rules permit, EventSmart is provided as available and responsibility is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts protections or remedies that cannot validly be excluded where you live.
Termination
You may stop using EventSmart at any time. Before uninstalling, export anything you need, revoke public and team access, manage cloud data and cancel any subscription separately.
Blue Sparrow may suspend or restrict connected features for serious misuse, fraud, security risk, material breach, non-payment, a provider requirement or discontinuation. Where reasonably possible, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Local data on a device is not intentionally erased merely because connected access is restricted, although uninstalling, clearing storage or device failure can remove it.
Responsibilities that naturally continue, including ownership, completed-payment responsibilities, privacy obligations and service limitations, remain effective after use ends.
Changes
EventSmart and these terms may evolve. Material changes will be explained through the app or https://bluesparrow.dev where appropriate and will show a revised updated date. Advance notice will be provided where required. If you do not accept a revised term, stop using the affected service and manage subscriptions, public links and cloud data as appropriate.
