These terms set expectations for instructors while preserving mandatory consumer rights that apply where they live.

Acceptance

These terms apply when you install, access or use DrivePilot, its connected services, public enquiry tools or tokenized sharing pages. By using DrivePilot, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use DrivePilot for a business or make choices for another person, you confirm that you have the authority and permissions needed to do so.

Blue Sparrow operates DrivePilot as a solo developer based in India. These terms work alongside the DrivePilot Privacy Policy, Google Play terms and the terms of an optional provider you choose. Mandatory consumer protections available where you live remain unaffected.

Service

DrivePilot provides tools for instructor profiles, learners and guardians, pickup details, lesson schedules, attendance, skills, private and learner-facing notes, packages, external payment tracking, invoices, reports, enquiries, public links, exports and optional connected recovery or synchronization.

DrivePilot is an administrative and teaching-record aid. It does not certify test readiness, issue a driving qualification, supervise a vehicle, assess every road risk, calculate tax, provide professional legal or accounting advice, or process payments from learners. Records and calculations depend on the information you enter and your professional review.

Road safety comes first

Only interact with DrivePilot while the vehicle is safely parked in a permitted position. Do not read, type, tap, photograph, scan or otherwise use the app while driving or while responsible for supervising a moving vehicle.

Accounts and security

Core local use may be available without every connected feature. Google sign-in creates a Firebase identity used for sync, recovery, purchases and other connected functions where enabled. Use only an account and workspace you are permitted to access, provide accurate business information and protect the device, Google account, authentication methods and recovery passphrase.

You are responsible for activity through your device, account and workspace unless applicable protections provide otherwise. Notify [email protected] if you reasonably believe access has been compromised. Signing out, deleting the app or clearing local records does not automatically cancel a subscription or erase every synchronized, provider-held, recipient or exported copy. Follow the Privacy Policy process for a broader data request.

Responsibilities

Use DrivePilot lawfully, safely and professionally. You must:

  • Enter accurate learner, lesson, package, billing and payment-status information and correct material errors.
  • Have an appropriate basis for learner, guardian, pickup, image and teaching records, including any notice or permission required for a minor.
  • Keep private instructor notes separate from content intended for a learner or guardian.
  • Verify every enquiry response, public-link recipient, invoice, payment instruction and export before sending or relying on it.
  • Keep independent records required for your business, instruction, tax, safeguarding or professional obligations.

You must not interfere with DrivePilot, evade access or plan controls, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, impersonate another person, send spam, upload harmful material or use the service in a way that violates another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.

Cloud features

Optional workspace synchronization sends supported learner, lesson, billing, enquiry, attachment and workspace records to the DrivePilot service for connected continuity. Availability depends on authentication, plan, network, service and provider state. Synchronization is a convenience feature and may be delayed or interrupted; review important records before relying on a synchronized copy.

Optional Google Drive recovery stores encrypted physical database checkpoints in DrivePilot's hidden app-data area in the Google account you authorize. DrivePilot uses a recovery passphrase and separate backup key, but no recovery system can replace safe credential handling. Keep the passphrase secure and maintain another appropriate copy of irreplaceable business records. Backup creation, read-back verification and retention cleanup are best effort, and Google controls Drive availability and physical infrastructure.

Exports, PDFs and attachments saved or shared through the operating system become ordinary files controlled by the chosen destination or recipient. You are responsible for protecting those copies and understanding that deleting DrivePilot does not retrieve something already shared.

Public links

DrivePilot can create tokenized lesson-summary and hosted-invoice links. A working link acts as access to the selected content until expiry or revocation. Share it only with an intended recipient, use the minimum suitable content, take extra care with a minor's information and revoke access when it is no longer appropriate.

A lesson summary may show a learner's first name, date, duration, selected progress summary and next focus, and may accept an acknowledgement. A hosted invoice can provide invoice details and a PDF. Search-engine instructions and high-entropy tokens reduce accidental discovery but do not make a link equivalent to a recipient identity check. Blue Sparrow does not guarantee that a recipient will keep the content private or delete a downloaded copy.

Public enquiry pages let prospective learners submit contact and lesson-preference information to an instructor. Instructors are responsible for responding appropriately and using that information only for a suitable enquiry workflow. Submitters must provide information they are entitled to provide and should not place unnecessary sensitive details in the note.

Subscriptions and purchases

DrivePilot may offer free features, trials, subscriptions, lifetime access or other premium products. The features, limits, price, billing period and trial conditions displayed at purchase are the terms for that offer. Google Play processes payment, renewal, cancellation and eligible refunds under its rules; RevenueCat helps validate and deliver entitlements. Blue Sparrow does not receive full payment-card details.

A subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the applicable renewal time. Deleting DrivePilot, signing out or requesting account deletion does not cancel it. Access can take time to refresh and may depend on a valid receipt, connectivity and the store account used for purchase. Refund, withdrawal or cooling-off protections required where you live remain available.

DrivePilot can record external learner payments and display instructor-supplied cash, bank-transfer, cheque or UPI instructions and QR details. Blue Sparrow does not hold, transfer or settle those funds. The instructor is responsible for correct instructions, receipts, refunds, reconciliation and resolving payment concerns directly with the learner.

Intellectual property

Blue Sparrow and its licensors retain rights in the DrivePilot software, original interface, branding, templates, compilations and other protected materials. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use DrivePilot on supported devices under these terms and applicable app-store rules.

You retain rights in original business profiles, learner records, notes, images, invoice content and other material you create or are authorized to use. You give Blue Sparrow a limited permission to host, store, copy, transmit, format and display that material only as reasonably needed to provide, secure and support the features you request. You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the material.

Availability and disclaimers

Blue Sparrow works to keep DrivePilot useful and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free calculations, preservation of every record, delivery of every notification or email, successful sync or restore, compatibility with every device, recipient access to a link, or a particular teaching, business or learner outcome. Network conditions, operating-system limits, credentials, provider outages and service changes can affect connected features.

Apply your own professional judgment to road safety, learner readiness, safeguarding, instruction, scheduling, billing and record obligations. Review packages, invoices, tax fields, payment status, exports and summaries before using or sending them.

To the extent permitted by applicable rules, DrivePilot is provided as available and responsibility is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot validly be excluded where you live.

Termination

You may stop using DrivePilot at any time. Cancel an active subscription separately and manage local, synchronized, Drive, public-link, exported and recipient copies as described in the Privacy Policy.

Blue Sparrow may suspend or restrict an account or connected feature for serious misuse, fraud, safety or security risk, material breach, non-payment, provider requirements or discontinuation of a service. Where reasonably possible, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Provisions that naturally continue, including ownership, completed-payment responsibilities, limited permissions for retained copies, service limitations and privacy duties, remain effective after use ends.

Changes

DrivePilot and these terms may evolve. Material changes will be explained through the app or https://bluesparrow.dev and will show a new updated date. Advance notice will be provided where required. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and manage any subscription and stored copies.
