Billnix Terms of Use

Acceptance

These terms apply when you install, access or use Billnix. By using the app or its connected services, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Billnix. If you make account, purchase, reminder or export choices for another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

Blue Sparrow operates Billnix as a solo developer based in India. These terms work alongside the Billnix Privacy Policy, Google Play terms and the terms of each optional provider you use. Mandatory consumer protections available where you live remain unaffected.

Service

Billnix provides manual tools for recurring bills and subscriptions, categories, amounts, renewal and lifecycle dates, cancellation context, calendars, insights, local notifications, same-account backend synchronization, optional email and Telegram reminders, optional Google Drive checkpoints and local exports.

Billnix does not connect to a bank, inspect an inbox, initiate or verify a payment, cancel a subscription for you or confirm that a provider accepted a cancellation. It does not provide financial, tax, accounting, investment or professional cancellation advice. Check each provider's account, charge, deadline and requirements directly.

Accounts and security

Google sign-in is required for the normal Billnix flow and creates a Firebase identity used for account, synchronization, reminder, purchase and backup boundaries. Use only an account you are permitted to use, keep it accurate where needed and protect your device and credentials.

You are responsible for activity through your device and account unless applicable protections provide otherwise. Notify [email protected] if you reasonably believe access has been compromised. Signing out, deleting the app or clearing local data does not automatically delete synchronized records, Drive copies, exports or provider records and does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

Your records and responsibilities

You retain rights in original subscription details, notes, contacts and other content you enter. You give Blue Sparrow and the providers you select a limited permission to process that content only as reasonably needed for the synchronization, reminder, backup, export, purchase or support action you request.

You must:

• Enter information you are permitted to use and avoid unnecessary passwords, full card or bank details, government identifiers and other secrets.
• Check amounts, currencies, renewal dates, trial dates, cancel-by dates, notice periods, contacts, links and reminder rules before relying on them.
• Review the provider's current terms and account state and keep an independent record where missing a deadline could cause serious harm.
• Protect Drive checkpoints, exports, notifications, delivered messages and any device or account that can access them.

You must not interfere with Billnix or connected services, evade paid-feature or account controls, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, impersonate another person, send unwanted messages or use the service to violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.

Sync, backup and export

Billnix writes to an app-private local database first and synchronizes supported records through the Billnix backend. Connectivity gaps, conflicting edits, account state or service problems can delay synchronization. Same-account sync is intended for continuity, but it is not a substitute for checking important source records.

Optional Google Drive backup creates compressed readable checkpoints in the hidden app-data area of the authorized Google account. Encoding, hashes and the hidden scope do not make the files an encrypted vault. Drive backup is a separate checkpoint-and-restore path, not live synchronization. Restore requires the matching account boundary and valid checkpoint data.

Premium can create ordinary JSON, CSV and support-package files on the device. You control the destination and any later sharing. Blue Sparrow cannot recall a file after it leaves app-private storage. Secure the files and keep a suitable independent record of anything you cannot replace.

Reminders and connected channels

Billnix can schedule local notifications and, when eligible and enabled, server-owned email or Telegram messages. Free and Premium eligibility, notification permission, device settings, entered dates, timezone, connectivity, battery policy, backend state and provider availability can all affect delivery.

Free can use a basic local push rule, eligible weekly email digest and a limited introductory transactional-email period. Premium can add multiple or custom rules, ongoing email, a daily digest and Telegram where the server mirror and providers are ready. A setup summary sends only when you request it; Telegram requires an explicit link flow.

Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. You remain responsible for reviewing renewal, trial, cancellation and payment obligations directly. Disabling a channel stops future Billnix use where the change is applied but does not retrieve a message already delivered to a device, inbox or Telegram chat.

Free, Premium and purchases

Billnix may offer Free, Premium, trial, subscription, lifetime or promotional access. Free currently targets up to 15 active subscriptions and limited custom categories. Premium can unlock unlimited tracking, additional categories and rules, advanced insights, exports and connected reminder capabilities. The exact product, feature set, price, billing period, trial and eligibility shown at purchase are the terms for that offer.

Google Play processes payment, renewal, cancellation and eligible refunds under its rules. RevenueCat helps validate and deliver entitlement state, and Blue Sparrow's backend mirrors limited entitlement fields for server-owned features. Blue Sparrow does not receive your full payment-card details.

A subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the applicable renewal time. Deleting Billnix, signing out or deleting an account does not cancel it. Premium can take time to activate or refresh and can depend on a valid receipt, connectivity, the Billnix identity and store account. If Premium ends or cannot be verified, paid features and future Premium-only reminders can pause, while existing local records and previously generated exports remain where practical.

Provider services

Billnix relies on Google sign-in, Firebase, Cloud Messaging, Google Drive, Google Play, RevenueCat, Blue Sparrow infrastructure, email delivery, Telegram, attested support and optionally Logo.dev. Their terms, availability, retention and account controls also apply to the parts they provide.

Billnix can open manage, cancellation, email, telephone and Telegram links. A link or displayed provider mark is a convenience and does not mean Blue Sparrow controls, endorses or guarantees the destination. Check the address and recipient before continuing.

Intellectual property

Blue Sparrow and its licensors retain rights in the Billnix software, original interface, branding, templates, compilations and other protected materials. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Billnix on supported devices under these terms and applicable app-store rules.

Provider names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance helps identify a service and does not imply sponsorship. Do not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from protected parts of Billnix except where applicable rules expressly allow it.

Availability and limitations

Blue Sparrow works to keep Billnix useful and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, delivery of every reminder, perfect date or total calculations, successful synchronization, preservation of every record, successful backup or restore, acceptance of an export, provider-link accuracy or compatibility with every device, region or account.

To the extent permitted by applicable requirements, Billnix is provided as available and responsibility is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot validly be excluded where you live.

Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Billnix at any time. Cancel an active Google Play subscription separately and manage local, synchronized, Drive, export and recipient copies as described in the Privacy Policy.

Blue Sparrow may suspend or restrict an account or connected feature for serious misuse, fraud, security risk, material breach, non-payment, provider requirements or discontinuation of a service. Where reasonably possible, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Provisions that naturally continue, including ownership, completed-payment responsibilities, service limitations and privacy duties, remain effective after use ends.

Changes

Billnix and these terms may evolve. Material changes will be explained through the app or https://bluesparrow.dev and will show a new updated date. Advance notice will be provided where required. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and manage any subscription and stored copies.
